1) Harvard University
Harvard University is one of the oldest law schools in the United States, and one of the most prestigious. While Harvard does not release their LSAT scores for applicants, students have put together enough information to make a reasonably accurate assumption as to what it might be. At least 50% of incoming students have over 167 on their

Yale University is a private Ivy League research university in New Haven, Connecticut. Founded in 1701 and originally known as the Collegiate School, it is the third-oldest institution of higher education in the United States.
Yale is organized into fourteen constituent schools: Arts & Sciences, Business, Drama, Divinity, Forestry & Environmental Studies, Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, Law, Medicine,
Music, Nursing, Public Health, and Veterinary School. Students compete inter- varsity sports teams compete in the Ivy League conference. Yale has produced many notable alumni; among them is former President William Howard Taft who graduated with a law degree from Yale in 1878.
3) Stanford University
Founded in 1891, Stanford University is an elite private institution that has a long list of illustrious alumni and a strong history of encouraging innovative thought. Just one example is the early Silicon Valley work done by engineering professor David Packard and his colleague Bill Hewlett.
Today, Stanford is at the forefront of every technological innovation, hosting dozens of high-powered labs that explore everything from artificial intelligence to climate change. Stanford’s location on the San Francisco Bay offers students access to California’s booming tech sector as well as many other diverse businesses and academic institutions.
Because of its position as a top research institution, Stanford also has a high number of lawyers in its alumni ranks. Eight different people who attended Stanford Law School currently hold positions on circuit courts. More than sixty current judges were educated at Stanford, including Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor and retired Associate Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens.
Seven sitting congressmen and senators also graduated from SLS, including House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, who attended law school in her 30s after working as a congressional aide for several years.
4) Columbia University
Columbia University is a private university in New York City that was founded in 1754 by the royal charter. It is one of the oldest universities and was originally called King’s College.
Columbia has an undergraduate enrollment of 14,076 students, with 6,430 students attending the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. Columbia offers master’s degrees in 63 fields and doctoral degrees in 18 fields.
According to US News & World Report, Columbia University ranks third among Best Global Universities for 2017-2018. The school also ranked fourth for Best National Universities for 2017-2018 and eleventh for Best Undergraduate Engineering Programs for 2017-2018.
5) New York University
New York University is one of the most well-known law schools in the country. NYU’s full-time program offers a choice between three-degree programs: J.D., LL.M., and M.S./J.D. Students at NYU can expect to pay around $55,000 per year in tuition fees,
not including living expenses and other expenses such as books and legal software licenses. Applicants are required to take either the Law School Admissions Test or the Graduate Record Examination before applying for admission into NYU’s law school program; these exams cost about $180 each and should be taken during your senior year of high school or your first semester at college if you have already completed it before then.
