The Locks Law Firm announces Stephen M. Tatonetti as a member of the firm’s legal team. Mr. Tatonetti has been a member of the firm since 2011, and before joining Locks, he practiced in the Law Offices of Michael H. Trotman in New York City, NY for several years. He is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey, as well as before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

Mr. Tatonetti received his B.A., J.D., and M.A., all from Fordham University School of Law where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Fordham Journal of International Law and was a Marshall Scholar in Law and Public Policy at Oxford University’s Oxford Martin School (Chevening Scholar).

He also received an LLM cum laude from Columbia University School of Law where he was a John Jay Scholar and recipient of both 2010 James Fearon Professor’s Awards for Excellence in Forensic Studies – 2009-2010).

Stephen M. Tatonetti joins the Locks Law Firm team as a partner in our New York office. Mr. Tatonetti has been a member of the firm since 2011 and is an experienced litigator who practices in all areas of civil litigation, including personal injury, workers’ compensation, and employment discrimination cases.

Before joining Locks, Mr. Tatonetti practiced in the Law Offices of Michael H. Trotman (now known as MHT Law) in New York City, NY where he gained extensive experience representing individuals injured by defective products or services under New York State’s Defective Products Liability Act (DPLA).

Mr . Tatonetti received his Juris Doctorate from Fordham University School of Law where he graduated magna cum laude with an Order of Lincoln Honorary Degree on May 6th, 2016 after completing his undergraduate degree at Vassar College where he majored in Economics & History & Art History before graduating cum laude with honors with highest cumulative grade point average ever recorded at Vassar College (B+).

Mr. Tatonetti has been a member of the firm since 2011.
