Jennifer Emmons will join the firm as a managing partner. Emmons was most recently a senior partner at the law firm of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP. She has extensive experience in class action litigation and counseling clients on complex matters involving securities regulation, corporate governance, and other business issues.

Ms. Emmons’ practice includes advising companies on internal investigations into alleged misconduct by directors or officers; providing advice on how to respond to shareholder claims;

Advising boards and management teams on corporate governance issues such as executive compensation plans; evaluating relationships between directors and officers so as not only to avoid liability but also facilitate better communications between them later down the road (when an investigation is underway)

At Weil Gotshal, she represented corporate clients in matters involving intellectual property and securities law, white-collar criminal defense, internal investigations, and corporate compliance.
